For those familiar with Set theory, I suppose the title of the blog might have made some sense. The notation, read as I union I complement, implies that when a set of certain things are combined with a set which excludes all the things in the former one gets an universal set. The individual is at the center of existentialism (and objectivism), in this case me or ‘I’. The explicit dichotomy in these philosophies means there is a not me, ‘Ī’, and there is a distinctive separation between the two. When one unites I and Ī, one should end up with a universal set, in this case, this Universe.
